From today's edition of the Press of Atlantic City, An article (See link below) by Donald Wittkowski now officially confirms that the Harrah's will dump the Bally's brand in Atlantic City and Las Vegas.

Which makes me to ask the following.. Who will step up and take over the name? Will Resorts International which owns Bally's in Tunica, Mississippi buy it outright so they don't have to change the name in 2 years as was stipulated in their contract when they agreed to buy the casino from Caesars Entertainment or could Bally Total Fitness come in and buy the name since they are one of the original companies under the old Bally Corporation which owned the video/pinball manufacturer, Bally's casinos and Bally's Total Fitness chain.
