My Uncle from Chicago moved North when he retired. His choice was Crystal Falls Michigan - Upper Pennisula. We never saw much of him after that. He wanted peace, fresh air and fishing, and got it.

One of his causes over the years became the UP ( Pronounced: You Pee) becoming a state and breaking off from Michigan. Honest...

It's NOT Northern Michigan it's the UP.
