how do we protect the 100's (if not 1000's) of Ebay buyers who don't have a clue that they just bought an altered chip?

In my opinion, this is the biggest area that will affect our hobby. Example, you have an individual who has lots of money and little to no education of the hobby buying chips for his collection (or maybe they are buying chips for an “investment”). Years later he sells the chips to another individual/dealer and now altered chips are now being passes as original unaltered chips.

You can’t give COMMON SENSE to someone who doesn’t know they were “ripped off” for $1000’s of dollars in altered chips.
