I have the same chip and as far as I can remember I bought it around the same time you got yours. It seems to me there were a few of them in the box I bought it from. If it is an altered chip they did a good job and did not make very much on the deal, as I am sure I would not have paid more than ten dollars for the chip. The scan is bad I can never get a good scan on reflective chips. Anyone wanting to take a chance on the chip can have it for thirty bucks.
