"I've been waiting for someone to point that out. It's idiotic to blame us for not covering locations that we state upfront we won't cover!"
The scope of the book(areas covered) is stated on page seven. If I had examined the actual book before purchase, I probably would have seen this and would not have been so dissapointed with its limited content (or possibly not purchased the book).
I bought the book based on the high reccomendations it received on thechipboard, and several cover illustrations seen at various places on the internet.
I mistakenly assumed that the U.S. in the title indicated the area of coverage (silly me). What does that U.S. in the title refer to? Is it the U.S. version (English language) of the book?
This is a beautiful book, with thousands of color illustrations, and a wealth of valuable information. I heartily reccomend it to anyone interested in the chips of Colorado, Deadwood, South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, MOST OF Nevada, and PART OF New Jersey.
It is unfortunate that the title and the content do not seem to match.
