We financed our daughters new house a few months ago and I wrote a check for $55,000 to deposit into my checking account to finance the purchase. About 4 days later I got a notice from the bank stating that the teller maded a little mistake. She had only credited out account with $5500. I sure am glad that we didn't try to spend the money the next day.
