Typically, past issues of the price guide appreciate in value faster than many chips. Obsolete or not. The book itself is actually a collectors item in itself. An investment if you will. Seriously!
In two years, collectors will be begging for that book. It's one of the foundation bibles of this hobby, and I might add that this issue's front cover graphics are beautiful.
