Well as long as Opra and michael Douglas and other celebrities keep buying up the land it aint gonna crash in Santa Barbara, I bought my home 10 years ago for 233k and now it is valued at 989k and they tell me if I list for 1 mill I can get it in 4 month or less!!! It is a beautiful area that has fabulous parks and great schools. A perfect place to raise a family, two bed apartments go for 1,500.00 a month!!! the vacancy rate is 2 %. a very healthy town and I would have to be a doctor to buy my home today!
