The chips from the casinos in Atlantic City can always be redeemed. The casinos in Nevada must publish a redemption notice and have a 6 month period during which the chips can be redeemed. After that you may be SOL. I suspect there are no rules for the Indian casinos - you might well be SOL from the get go.
