when I worked for Wells Fargo - you REALLY got to watch the zeros!
My biggest "miss", was when I was a kid, I heard that the ruby slippers from the wizard of Oz were going to be auctioned, and the expected price was $10k (I encouraged my parents to make the purchase as an investment). Ten years later, the same pair sold for $300k (even though there are 2 or 3 verified movie pairs out there now)... My parents thought I was insane, invested in a truck parts company, and lost the entire $10k!
