With a little modification that paragraph could say You do NOT want to be a roulette player, playing roulette & TAKE chips! If you want to continue to play roulette it is a VERY stupid thing to do. If you get caught you will not only be barred from any future roulette playing, but the word WILL get out & you will be barred from roulette at other casinos. They won't care that you say you are a collector, to the other players casino personnel you will go down as a cheat. It's simply not worth it.
The only difference as I see it is that in the first instance, it could be assumed that you are intending to defraud fellow players as well as the house. In the second instance it could be assumed that you intend to defraud the house.
I'm not sure that you can have it both ways. Is there really that much of a difference between the two scenarios? This is not intended as an attack on ANYONE, just a question to be pondered.....
