Interestingly, Pam was not the first. Someone else had negotiated points for cards before her. According to the flyers at The Orleans, this promotion is only for the month of June.
I do not know if it is an experiment for possible regular use, or if it really is just a month-long promotion. I suspect that cards issued will likely get used at stores and then end up around the house, or left at a store's cash register as trash.
When Pam used the card I am auctioning (Wal-Mart, that same day) there was a problem getting the card accepted by the VISA debit system. But it was finally accepted for $49.75. That means there is still $.25 (25 cents) on the card!
BTW-Why is it I've not seen you at The Orleans, when you have enough points to get a card (or more)? Or is your action elsewhere (Suncoast, Barbary Coast, Gold Coast)?
