Our goal was to visit Venice and then when leaving, (so as not to have to carry all the chips, jetons and plaques throughout Venice) stop by the casino.

We had about 45 minutes before the train left for Bologna/Florence. We didn't expect any delays.

There was no time to leave the casino, find a store, buy shoes, return to the casino and get the items needed before the train would have left.
