Tonight’s note comes to us from Mark Cotton, it is one of many notes he sent as a gift to me. This note is a 1930 issue 5 Yen from Japan. The Japanese notes have a unique design and can be picked out of a pile of other Asian notes. At the left is Kitano Shrine, green guilloche in the center and Emperor Sugawara Michizane.
