I think the antenna Gene is talking about is much smaller than the Mikohn sample chip & coil and could readily be incorporated in any regular chip.
I saw the shufflemaster prototype on display at the London expo in January, but it wasn't 'ready' at that time. I picked up the Mikohn samples the same day. GPI were also proudly advertising their chips containing the Mikohn 'chip & coil'. The security around them (and the solitary safeplaque on display) was unreal. At the end of each demo (which was 'supervised by 3 or 4 GPI people) they went back in a safe. I only managed to get about 8 of them
As the Peacock chips were already in production at that time, I would assume they must contain the same chip & coil.
