Hmmmmm...

In literature circles, Stephen King books are considered "trash". I started collecting them simply because I liked the books and wanted them all.

Many years later, I find out that some of his early works (sitting on my shelf) are selling for hundreds of dollars and I have since started to "upgrade" the collection by acquiring rare and unique works to enhance the collection.

The point of this story is that most collections originate with a simple love of the item being collected. If you are buying simply for the "investment", that's ok but your completely missing the "hobby" aspect of what we do.....
