I was at the grocery store today and got the usual pile of coins, bills and a receipt shoved at me. I guess at age 52 I am getting old and hard to deal with, not that I ever was easy to deal with!! LOL!!!
When I was in Junior High School and Senior High School I worked for a Greek that ran a Grocery Store, a Russian Doctor that owned a large share of the downtown area, and a Jewish Junk Dealer. These guys would eat your lunch if you didn't count the change penny by penny. They were right, prove to the customer they got what was coming.
Successful businessmen, pillars of the community...and you know what those businesses are still going today run by their descendants...I learned alot from them and respect them for what they taught me...Obviously their business ethics have made those businesses prevail.
