Hi All.....I have some chips that I have collected that I want to display in frames. I remember reading in The 2nd Edition of The US Casino Chip Price Guide that light, even flourescent light will deteriorate the chips color over time. I am not looking to display ultra-rare, expensive chips, but neither are they $1 throw-aways. Some are worth about $100. There is also a nice Palms limited edition set that I put together. I have a neat gameroom in my home with an antique poker table, and I already have some current Vegas $1 chips mounted and the chips really look good on the wall and I am not too worried about fading on them. There is flourescent light in the room, but lights are on only about 10% of the time. They are not in direct sunlight. So the question is this......Is it dumb to display chips "of value" in this manner? I'd really like to get them out of the binder! Any advice is appreciated.
