The theory behind all these complications is to make the chips so expensive & difficult to replicate that the thieves go on to easier scores... Wynns have UV graphics, Microdot on $25+ chips, and the RFID identifiers read by the cage; I'm guessing there are more attractive places to pass fake chips in Vegas!
