It isn't for lack of interest or being "cheap".

Collecting $25 chips requires a significant investment in a fairly small collection and you certainly wouldn't want to keep a lot of $25 traders lying around.

I think there is simply more interest in spending $100 for 100 chips rather than 4.

From my perspective, I would rather spend the $25 on a collectable $1 or $5 rather than a $25 that "might" be collectable.

Just one collectors opinion.
