Sometimes people will borrow scans and sell chips they don't have. We've seen a number where a scammer uses a stolen image and tries to sell a chip that he doesn't have. This has been especially true of some higher value chips.
Some people have had the guts to link to other peoples web pages, and use their images. That is also driving up usage for the real owner who is paying for it.
Last of all, if someone wants to borrow and image, all they have to do is ASK, not steal it.
Whether you or I care or agree, the rules on eBay say that another user cannot copy descriptions, GRAPHICS or content from other peoples auctions.
So No You Do Not Understand that someone has a chip, took the time to scan it, uploaded it to their website, and now someone else is stealing it.
How about the chip in the picture? It's not the one the guy is selling. How does a buyer know what they are getting? Maybe some bait and switch, where they buy something that's crappy. That's happened before as well. Display and image, sell the chip, and ship something different.
Now do you understand, it's not just about borrowing an image?
