RCCL announced last year a new "Freedom" class of 3 ships. The first (to be launched around March of 2006 will be the largest passenger ship in the world at 1,112',158,000 tons, 18 stories high and a compliment of 5,000 passengers and crew.

The Titantic was 882', 46,328 tons and carried 3,547 passengers and crew.

Presently the Queen Mary II is the largest passenger ship in the world.

Chips from all ocean going passenger ships continue to be the most difficult (IMO)to come by and usually command a higher price than land Casinos.

The largest cruise company is Carnival combined with Princess. RCCL is second combined with Celebrity. It is generally considered RCCL is better overall than Carnival although smaller lines and ships do offer the ultimate in ocean travel luxury.

Those of us that collect "Wet" chips know well the challenge of trying to keep up with and complete this segment of chipping.
