Beach glass is the rounded polished pieces of broken glass found on beaches. Belly glass occurs when sand builds up in the naval of a beach goer, usually someone of a portly stature. When enough heat from the sun and sand is combined with sufficient pressure, from bending over, or a sneeze, belly glass is produced. It can be distinguished from ordinary beach glass by the inclusion of lint. I hope this helps.
