Everyone loves to bash the Yankees and George Stienbrenner for buying his team and making it unfair for those in smaller markets. If it were up to the owners(Including Stienbrenner) Baseball would have a salary cap which would make all teams more even. It is the PLAYERS and AGENTS, NOT the owners who wont let this happen. Pure and simple greed on the part of players are the cause of the problem, not the owners...
