Just a quick update. I stopped by the Oaks Steakhouse at Hilton Atlantic City to check it out. Its a very classic steakhouse with dark panelled walls as opposed to the Safari with the zebra skins and loud prints.

I didn't eat there but the people who were didn't seem to hate it.
