...that I was going to bet $50 across the board ($150 a race) on all 12 races today. That came to $1,800...When Don & I were looking at the forms I saved the derby pick for last. When we got to it I changed my mind & decided to just bet a $100 on that race which would get me to exactly $1,750, which was what was needed for the chip set. That's when I figured I would bet two long shots at $20 each to win in addition to Bellamy Road at $20 across the board.
