There is presently "free" Texas Hold'em tournaments being conducted at various places around Stearns County (St. Cloud MN) on a weekly basis that would allow a person to play in as many as six tournaments a week. Prizes currently are limited to t-shirts and such, but legislation is in the works to allow (small) cash prizes and betting. Hopefully, this will mean an increase in the number of non-generic chips avaialbe to collectors. However, this is what is currently avaialbe to those resourceful enough to acquire what is in play.
