Barkley was a warrior. 43(28 KOs)-19-1. Beat Tommy Hearns twice (1988 & 1992), and lost to Duran (1989) and Toney (1993). Always gave a lot of punishment, but took a lot as well. Toward the end of his career had problems with scar tissue and his eyes. I believe at one point, there was a fear he would go blind.
