I am new to collecting chips and am starting to build up a small collection. With all the scans of chips, I see some in coin cases, some in cardboard with the plastic cover, loose, in coin sheets... what's the best way to care for a collection?

Secondly, cleaning chips. I've seen differing opinions, from leave them alone to different methods of cleaning. Is it good to clean chips and if so, whats the best and safest way to clean them?
