following. Just rent a car and drive the 21/2 hrs at peak traffic. The Green line at Avaition (cab from lax) is a option, but you must get off the green line at 7th st(end of the line) and take the Red line to Union Sta. (la hub) then gold line to Sierra Madre Villa (end of the line and cab to Arcadia(3-4 miles). The Green line is in a bad area, the red line OK, and Gold line in Good area. Cab would be 100-125 bucks. These are options. I recommend rent a car. Otherwise too many changes with bags. Good luck
