It's not the dollar amount. It's the fact that they don't pay taxes on all they earn as is the case with people whose income is is strictly from wages and is shown on their W-2 form.

Is that so hard for an attorney to understand?

I care less if they pay anything as long as everything is reported and if they have enough justified writeoff's, then so be it.
