One can only educate the novice player on what is customary to toke for good service. The kind ones will do the right thing while the cheap ones will always be able to justify saving money at others' expense. Hopefully it evens out in the long run (though not this weekend.)

As for me, I don't want to sit there knowing the dealer is saying "lose lose" (or worse) in his head every time I play...bad karma!
