I agree with you John

The fact that the auction states it is a commemmorative chip would not mean that it is a fantasy chip to a new collector. Didn't the US government issure commemorative half dollars that were not phonies but real half dollars (Booker T Washington comes to mind).

I seller should clearly state that the chips were not issued by the casino and were made as fantasy chips well after it closed.
