...9/6 ddbp isn't too horrible (I'd skip it if I had the choice too)...but it is indicative of a trend. Look at the strip and try and find a better payoff than 8/5 or 7/5. But people play them regardless. Even the local casinos- Sam's, palace, charlie's, terrible's...getting harder to find a full-pay.
Most of the payback percentage comes from the three of a kind or less hands; the aces etc are a 'treat.' This is one of the reasons why I've given up on Atlantic City...grrrrrr.
