I RECENTLY SAW A SERIES OF AUCTIONS ALL LISTED FOR A STARTING BID OF ONE CENT.

THERE WERE 8 DIFFERENT SIZED PLASTIC FUNNELS. SHIPPING WAS BY PRIORITY FOR 3.85 ON EACH AUCTION BUT SELLER WOULD COMBINE SHIPPING (Sorry cap lock stuck)

So, 8 auctions with a gallery pic is $5.60...Unbelievably the funnels all sold for one cent. So, buyer got some handy dandy funnels for 8 cents and 3.85 shipping...Seller got stuffed for $5.52 cents plus whatever FVF is for 8 cents.

So, here you have a seller that is crying FEEBAY but does not factor in his own stupidity.

The whole shipping situation is enough to make a sow eat her litter. I just got stuffed for $6.05 cents to ship me 8 matchbook covers. I asked seller for shipping and got no response, but bid anyway, so I can't cry too loud.

This outrageous shipping is getting to be a major problem. I am not sure what can be done about it, probably nothing. I have found that if they have an outrageous amount listed for shipping you can shame them into a lower figure by asking if that is a mistake...I usually just say, "Surely you jest about the $22.00 shipping quote."

I gotta get...Lynn has baseball bat over me as I am not getting my listings done...She's noone to mess with.
