I meant to put smilies with that post since I thought it was humorous, but I was so intent on the copy-and-paste operation that I forgot. Obviously most of the inability to make change is mostly the result of not using the skill. I'm 62 years old, but I didn't learn to make change until I was out of high school. Of course, I had to pass algebra and geometry.
Math never was, never will be my forte, but making change is easy once one is taught how. However, most aren't taught how due to our modern conveniences. There isn't much incentive to learn.
