Scroll mold chips were 'current' in London from around 1965 to 1990.
It has to be after 1971 else it would be 10 shillings and not 50p Before changing to Bud Jones chips Ladbrokes used a hotstamp 50p. If the dates follow those of the Victoria that would mean they ceased ordering the inlay chips around 1985.
This was the second design of 50p scroll with inlay they used. If I had to guess I would say in use through the 1980's.
These chips are still redeemable . I picked up 20 or so Victoria scroll molds a few months ago that someone turned in. The cage manager is a friend
