I see that Jackpot Auctions posted that they are doing a revamp of the site. When I 1st saw that there was a need for something better than ebay I started www.casinochipauctions.com and posted a message on here for people to check it out and comment on what they wanted. I had 19 people sign up outta the however many there are on the chipboard. It didnt cost anything and listings were free, but still only 19 people signed up.
When I 1st found this site and found jackpot I went to it and said the same thing almost all of you did. Nice thought, but site sucks. Even if you never come to my site we need to work together to make Jackpot the site for selling chips instead of ebay.
I wouldnt even mind if there was a link on your listing at www.casinochipauctions.com to ebay or vice versa so people could learn where the chips are being sold.
I am not sure if you are aware, but creating and running a site costs money. I run the site myself and do everything myself also. It takes money to keep a site up and running. I was so pissed on the fees to sell a chip that I started my own. I didnt plan to make money from the site, only to make it self supportive.
My site wasnt to make a profit, but to let chippers buy, sell, or trade without getting robbed by ebay. I explained that if we dont as a group support each other we wont accomplish anything. I understand that ebay brings in higher sales from the people who arent collectors, but we still need to work on an alternative.
I have not spent the money to get the image flaw fixed because it doesnt seem anyone is interested in a new auction site. I planned to get a booth at the show, but they were sold out 1st day. Maybe they need to add more space since they sold out so fast.
Your feedback is appreciated.
