Mike, I have both the $1 and $0.50 chips from the Western available in small quantities. I chased the 50 cent chips for about 2 months. I would stop at the cage a couple times a week around midnight. I got to know the cage girl pretty well. At first, she showed me a couple stacks of the 50 cent chips, but she was afraid to sell them. She said that she had sold one a few years ago and the cage manager reprimanded her. The cage manager reportedly said that the carry-over figure on those chips had been the same for a looong time and now she had to change the figure. I persisted, and a few days before the place was set to change owners, the cage lady sold me the chips. They were all in pretty scary condition.
