"I have never understood the airlines! Sell a ticket for round trip cheaper than a one-way, and sell more tickets than there are seats on the plane then refund more than the ticket price to the people bumped."

My favorite is I get free first class upgrades, but sometimes I want to be sure I have it so I call up and say I would like to use my miles for a first class seat. Sometimes they tell me no mileage upgrades are available for that flight, but you may still get it at the gate. They will give me for free what IM willing to pay for in miles. Go Figure. Barry
