It's a token with stickers placed on both sides. Paper stickers can have a glossy finish and if placed on a hard surface could lead one to believe that it isn't paper. The stickers could be peeled off of both sides of that token.

I found it rather amusing that the seller added info to the auction admonishing anyone who tried to educate him or her.
