Resorts was the first casino to open in Atlantic City when gambling became legal (05/26/78). The first $5 chips they used were the "baccarat" type in the auction. These were pulled shortly thereafter and replaced with another $5 chip.

So if you want one of the first $5 chips ever used in AC, this is it. According to the latest edition of "The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide", this is an "R-9" in rarity - exceedingly rare - only 4-7 known to survive.
