During my recent trip to Las Vegas I found some new released chips and thought I would forward this to any collector before He or She makes the trip out there so as not to forget to pick them up! The Silverton has a new design mixed in with their old design and states new owners grand opening, Hard Rock has the Motley Crue chip but they quickly sold out and I had to buy one on Ebay as they didnt have any at the tables or the cage. Las Vegas Hilton has changed their 1.00 chip to a pretty blue one from their old and very ugly grey design. Im sure Everyone knows that Binions released new chips as they are no longer called the Horseshoe, They do have 1.00,2.00,4.00 and 5.00 on up in denominations. The poker room rage has brought out this 2.00 and 4.00 denomination in many poker rooms lately, including The Alladin. The Alladin also has New 1.00 and 5.00 on up chips that say Planet Hollwood coming 2006 but they seem to simple be a money maker that us hard core collectors are compelled to buy, I did not however purchase the Alladin 4.00 chip But I bought 40 of the 1.00 coming soon chips in Mint condition. Cicus Circus has a new $5.00 chip that shows a picture(chipco design) of the casino on one side and on the back says 100 year anniversary. This was easy to obtain in mint condition at their main cage.Im sure I missed one or two but that Is what I found and wanted to pass it along, any others I missed please feel free to post.
