The Republic of Ecuador uses the U.S. Dollar as it's official currency.

So does that mean the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing has to print billions of more U.S. dollars not only to cover our own debt but the debt of another country which isn't even part of our country? Why doesn't Ecuador have it's own currency?
