Without purchasing one of many commercial programs that will delete your computer history, you can do a fair job by clicking on Tools at the top of your Internet Explorer, then choose Internet Options, then in Temporary Internet Files, you can delete cookies and files.
Just be aware that some sites you may have visited and want to go back to may look for a cookie that you have deleted and you may have to re-register on that particular site. Hope this helps somewhat. Note: You can also get to Internet Options by Start, Control Panel, Internet Options...
