It sounds like the club has helped you since you joined, but for some reason you are still dissatisfied. Remember, you only get out of an organization what you are willing to put in. Did you offer to run for an office since you are not satisfied with the present leadership? If you aren't willing to put a foot forward to help your fellow collector (with 25 years of collecting experience) how can you expect to gain knowledge and utilize the club to help you?
Have you offered to volunteer at the convention? Have you offered to write an article for the club magazine, again using your 25 years of collecting background? Being a part of the CC>CC is a give & take situation with most members willing to do more giving.
