I have been collecting the CC>CC Chips of the Year. From 1990 to 2002 the COTY's ranged from NVC to a $10 face value. The 2003 COTY (shown below) has a $50 face value. Albeit true that's it a beautiful chip, such a chip, with sale prices on the Web exceeding $100, is out of reach for a lot of chip collectors. I think there should be a maximum face value of $10, perhaps $25 for all COTY candidates. After all isn't the COTY really for us CCGTCC collectors.
