diddley squat. Anyone can make a COA and tell you an autograph is real. For that reason I would never buy an autograph from someone I did not know well. If you dont intend on selling your collection (As I dont) and you obtained the autographs in person, it doesnt really matter. I try to take photographs whenever I can to validate the autographs and have over 100 balls with photos of actual signings.
I think it is appauling what some show promoters are charging for autographs of players at their shows. I realize that is due to the players charging so much for their appearance, but $200 for an autograph of someone still alive is ridiculous........
I realize that the days of free autographs are probably over, but how can they feel right about charging a 9 year old $125+ for a signature.
