I was at the Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana yesterday and noticed some new chips in play in a craps tournament. My illustration here is very rough, it's only to give a general idea of what the chips look like. One of the pit bosses only let me see it for a moment. I think it was a Paulson reverse hat and cane and was a gold hot stamped chip. The word "Argosy" was sort of an old English style lettering. There were $1 white, $5 red, $25 green, $100 black and $500 purple. Plain chips with no inserts. They wouldn't let any go, they said they had to account for them all. I watched a few tables tally the chips up after one round of play and none seem to be missing.....no collectors I guess. I just wanted to let the collectors out there know that these chips do exist.
