1. While only certain chips are recorded as counterfeited in TCR or in my article for casinos such as Money Tree, you must remember Borland would have had all the dies for those casinos and could have made anything.
2. Borland chips are usually found uncirc. I think the $5 I bought is slightly used
One slight 'exception', Lucky Club - Henderson.
IMO all Lucky Club chips are Borland. Those with silver hotstamp have been 'manufactured' later by someone rubbing the gold (bronze) stamp with a damp cloth. I have them both ways. I had a number of these with both color stamp. They are the only ones Ive seen which are not always aligned. Maybe Borland's employee had gone blind by then. I tested the damp cloth theory and it works
IMO the only genuine chip from a casino with that address is the 'Yep Luckie'. There is no record of a licence ever being granted for 'Lucky Club' at that address. Gene will correct me if Im wrong but I believe licence was applied for and denied 3 times. Hence the dies could have been already made.
